well, I was looking and there's a bright area in the sky... maybe its a bit too centered to explain the light as it is on the rocks and spaceship... but its not so far off as to look completely wrong... or as you said, a moon or something out of the view
Yeah! the original Bryce scene had the sun and sky in night-time mode and I couldn't get it set where I wanted it with the shadows and lighting! I turned off all sky presets and went to a "Green screen" so I could make it transparent in PS7. Maybe some filters will help it out! I have about 100 of them! Maybe I'll go back into Bryce and fiddle a tad more! I just don't like the sky presets supplied with the program or the ones I have added to "USERS"
yeah, I have to be honest, that's probably the worst thing in Bryce is the skies, even if you tweak them a lot they still just don't quite look right... not sure what it is, maybe cause they are flat images and have no depth themselves..
maybe try adding a cloud plain so the clouds are actual 3D objects... maybe that would help cover the fact that the sky isn't real
I tried the cloud plane thing and it didn't help much! So I turned the atmosphere off and made it a green screen (sort of) so I could make it a transparent png in PS7 and add my own background! . Maybe a new background picture may work better! Don't know! I will keep tweaking till I get it right or just abandon the whole thing! We'll see! Thanks for your input Charles!
